Welcome to The Mermaid & The Alligator, a traditional Key West bed & breakfast in the heart of the historic district. Start each day with a wonderful full breakfast to keep you going whether your plans take you to the beach, out snorkeling and diving, or touring the many shops, galleries and restaurants of Duval Street, which is just three blocks away.

When you've seen all you want to, simply "come home" to the inn and relax in our beautiful tropical garden setting, in the sun or shade. Enjoy the subtle music...cool off with a dip in our pool...recharge yourself. As night falls enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as you unwind to make your evening plans.

Our stay at the Mermaid was phenomenal! We loved everything about the place..no comparison to other inns in which we have stayed...the dogs are a definite plus...the gardens are wonderful... we can't wait to come back! Geri, the concierge, is an absolute dream! I can't think of enough superlatives to describe this inn. We were so lucky to get in!!! Thanks M&A!!!
