This was our third stay at the Inn. Both of us just love it there. Everyone is so friendly that it almost feels like home. I have a smile on my face as soon as we cross the bridge to the island. Our room was perfect as always. (We stayed in the Primrose) We had a gorgeous view of the Gulf from our balcony.

My sister and I stayed at the Harrington House last year and I absolutely loved it! I haven't been in a relationship for 15 years but thought it would be a wonderful romantic B & B to vacation with a boyfriend. I started dating Tom Mann and told him all about the Harrington House and he made the reservations. I had made a mistake with the booking and we arrived a day early. Diane was so accomadating and pleasant. She gave us a room on the second floor facing the Gulf and it was absolutely beautiful. Tom walked out onto the balcony and was awstruck! It was everything that I had told him. From the breakfast, bicycles, the Island, beach chairs, pool and use of towels, we couldn't have had a more romantic and wonderful time. The staff were so helpful and nice, they even remembered me from last year! We had such a great time, Tom propossed to me and we visited the local Jewler and bought an engagement ring! It was definately the most romantic, wonderful vacation with my "fiance". We have told all of our family and friends and are looking forward to our next visit. The rates were reasonable for the room type and everything that we had during the stay. Tom and I just moved in together and are on a strict budget. I am on a monthly income from disability and Tom works the full time job putting two children through school and paying support for two other children We would love to come back! As we live about 20 miles from Harrington House, we take a long weekend there about twice a year and have been doing so for many years. We never have been disappointed. It is a wonderful place in all respects.

We have been visiting the Harrington House and its venues for more than 15 years. Whether we are enjoying a new accomodation or revisiting a familiar one our stay is the best. The Harrington Family and staff are our family too. We enjoy other guests and sharing with them. We enjoy the privacy and intimacy that we have not found elsewhere. My husband and I were so taken by the beauty of the Inn and the surroundings. What a lovely place to go for rest and relaxation. The Gulf is so beautiful and peaceful and it makes you feel you are in paradise. The hospitality of the innkeepers and staff is just wonderful and they make you feel at home. They are very friendly and make you feel part of the family. We will stay there again when we return to the west coast of florida which hopefully will be next year if not the following year. We stayed at the Huth house for our wedding night. Anna maria is so beautiful and laid back, very old Florida. The Huth house is a small unit a few blocks away--we wanted to be more secluded, and we were! the patio opened to the ocean (about 35 yds away).you hear the waves at night. the fireplace was a good touch--you can turn it on with the flick of the switch! in the morning, take a short stroll to eat breakfast. friendly people, we loved sharing our wedding with them.

Harrington House is exactly as the description says it is - wonderful! Patti and her staff are great. The rooms are each unique. The sand and ocean fabulous. Love the choices at breakfast. Even the little lizards running around are cute! We'll be back!

Harrington House bungalo was abolutely perfect. This was the first time at a bed and breakfast and we could not have been happier with our choice. The rooms were immaculate and the staff was trememdous. We have already booked for next year

Words can not express how wonderful our most recent stay at the Harrington House. My wife and I had a beautiful wedding on the beach at the Harrington House last year and decided that we would spend our anniverary weekend there every year. We are are so excited that the Harrington House will be a part of our lives every year, and then some. The welcoming sign says "Come as a guest, leave as a friend." And that couldn't be anymore true. The owners, Patti and Mark are an absolutly wonderful couple that truly value the relationships that they have with thier guests. It is so wonderful to go on vacation and be welcomed by friends. This year we stayed in the Carraige Suite 4. As expected, the room was very clean and inviting. We were so happy to have a balcony view of such a gourgous beach. My wife and I even took ou the bikes that they have on the property and rode all over the beautiful island. This is truly a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, and it is well deserving of all of the accolades that they are recieving. Can't wait to come back!!!

Every year I visit my mom in Florida and take her to the ocean. For many years I seem to find decent places to stay and then about 4 years ago things changed in the area of Brandenton Beach and I couldn't find anything to suit us (we have never been able to stay for a week). My husband encouraged me to try a bed and breakfast and low-n-behold I wish I would have tried it years ago. I actually am hesitant to write about the Harrington House because I want to keep it a secret. However, what a wonderful place. My mother at 85, who is also hard to please, had a big smile on her face when she saw the breakfast area. I knew I was in luck. We also love the chairs and tables outside by the pool and one of the most attractive aspects is all the plants and trees they have. Having trees nearby the pool allows people to enjoy the beach and pool but have the shade. We stayed in one of the houses the HH owns and well, needless to say, we reserved it for next year. As far as everything else I don't know how many times I repeated while I was there how the Harrington House staff goes above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Harrington House for having that kind of attitude. It's that type of attitude that survives in times like these.

My wife and I have just stayed a second time at Harrington House Bed and Breakfast. We are experienced travelers, especially in the Mediterranean and the Nordic countries, with their different styles of coasts and beaches, and have long sought to find a place nearer to Massachusetts ‘to call our own.’ We have miraculously found it in Harrington House, an oasis of calm, quiet, and natural beauty. My wife grew up in a beach hotel in Denmark, and Harrington House, in a garden by the sea, fits her like hand in a glove—which we don’t have to wear. We looked long and hard for a place that gave a sense of home with a solicitous, friendly, and unobtrusive regard for the guests. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had at a B&B! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was charming and clean. The breakfasts were gourmet and delicious, with many personal menu offerings in addition to the daily menu selection. This was very important to my husband, who suffers from several food intollerances, which often make breakfasts a challenge for him! He enjoyed a hearty breakfast each morning!

My husband, Harvey and I have been coming to Harrington House for the past 10 years after he finishes a solo business convention. It is our honeymoon getaway, our chance to walk the beach and watch the sunsets in the warmest, most welcoming place we can imagine. Each year, it is like coming hoome again. We love the pampering, the warm waters of the swimming pool, the nicest of guests and the nightly fresh-baked cookies. We love the days to ourselves and the chance to meet our Sarasota and St. Pete Beach friends for dinner. For us, Harrington House is a little piece of paradise.

Two other friends rented a villa, and we were all so pleased. It was perfect. Patti particularly made us feel very special with all the extras. She and her staff gave us excellent customer service. It was just what I needed! I can't wait to go back. Finally, the breakfasts were amazing!!!

We have been visiting the Harrington House every year (sometimes twice a year) for the past 7 years. It is a beautiful setting being right on the beach and the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We love sitting by the pool where you can look right out at the gulf and taking long walks on the beach after breakfast. The food is delicious and the rooms are charming and immaculate. This is a place where we can truly relax and we highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful place to stay. This last trip was our second time staying at the Huth House. This is a very PRIVATE house that is a few minutes walk down from the main house. We will definitely be going back. Not very inexpensive, but it is affordable. It is worth the money for the accommodations and very super nice staff.

I and four friends rented villa 1, adjacent to the B&B and also managed by Patti and Mark. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, pool, jacuzzi, a full gulf view and access, and was perfect for our reunion. It's style is spacious opulence in contrast to the charm of the B&B, but it is luxuriously furnished, and totally comfortable, with all imaginable amenities.

Going to the Harrington House is like going home, without the conflict. The welcome is warm and homey. It is right on the beach, the sunsets are fabulous. The mix of people is varied: young and older couples, Americans, Brits and Scots this time. Everyone is friendly. I have recently completed treatment for Cancer. And have been cancer free for 6 months. The staff celebrated with me. I go to Harrington House, because of the welcome, caring, positive environment, location and not last and not least because as a single I feel very safe! Give yourself a gift of enjoyment!

I am an innkeeper in Florida also. My daughter came in from NC and really wanted to relax near the Gulf of Mexico. I always know where to go. Patty, Ann,Frank and Jo. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Harrington House. I can't say enough about how attentive and caring the staff was. They really made you feel at home. We stayed in the Sunset Room, which had a breathtaking view of the Gulf from our private deck, and the room was spotless! The beach is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the pelicans, dolphins, and sunsets everyday, and walking the beach to look for unique shells. Every morning you were served a delicious breakfast and there were always additional choices available to choose from. Alot of detail is given to the presentation of the food and dining area. If you are a beach lover and need a place to relax, unwind and be pampered, you definitely won't go wrong with Harrington House. We will definitely be returning!

Review: When your soul needs to be pampered and it calls to the beach, what better place to get it all but at the Harrinton House B&B on Anna Maria Island. My husband and I started coming here 3 years ago and each time we come we stay a little longer because we LOVE it and won't go anywhere else on this beautiful island. We came to the Harrington House to celebrate our anniversary and found several other couples married on the same date, celebrating there. We absolutely loved Harrington House. We were looking for a quiet romantic getaway and we got it! ALL the staff were phenomenal. We're really looking forward to our next stay at Harrington House. This was the first time my husband and I stayed at Harrington House Bed & Breakfast and Anna Maria Island. What a treat! The Harrington House staff were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and my husband commented how great the food was. The Harrington House is beautiful and the location reminded me of old Florida 30 to 40 years ago. I recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone and now I understand why they have return guests four and five times. Wonderful experience! Teresa W

Over rated. At $239 per night; we where surprise to see such a tired looking room with wall paper peeling and rust on some walls. The view was great and the staff was very nice.

A dear friend's daughter got married on a place called Anna Maria Island, FL. She recommended several hotels and the Harrington House B&B. Never having heard of the island but loving bed and breakfasts, we decided to give it a whirl. What a treat!!!! The Harrington House is beautifully appointed and the location couldn't have been more beautiful. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts sitting out under an umbrella at the pool while looking out to the Gulf. My husband and I were just so sorry we didn't plan to stay longer. We both relaxed and felt so refreshed after only 2 days. There is no doubt Ed and I will go back again soon for a longer visit to this wonderful Bed & Breakfast and an adorable island.

My husband and I have been enjoying the Harrington House for 16 years. We started out by just visiting the HH House on our anniversary in June. Then we started to visit the HH during the winter. I call the HH house my "Happy Place". The HH is the most peaceful B&B I have ever been to. The owners and staff treat you like family. The breakfast is gourmet. I would highly recommend the HH House if you are looking for a outstanding get away. The HH House is the next best thing to heaven in our eyes.

This is the second time I've stayed in one of the Huth House Suites and I love it. It is a separate home from the B&B and sits right on the beach. The bathroom is huge with a big jacuzzi and double shower. The breakfasts at the B&B are fantastic, with a gourmet special everyday. While eating breakfast you overlook their pool and the Gulf of Mexico - just beautiful. My boyfriend was with me and after the first day said he wanted to come back annually! A lovely area and B&B.

We've been staying at Harrington House for 7 years straight, and plan to return every year! With many different room accommodations available, all are beautiful, and most are with breathtaking views of the oceans. It is incredibly romantic, has every amenity available, and the innkeepers are wonderful! I would recommend to anyone!

This B&B is absolute paradise. My husband and i were staying in Orlando for 2 weeks and choose to spend 1 night at the Harrington House as a special treat to ourselves. We arrived earlier than planned and we were met by the owner who welcomed us into the main house and told us to make ourselves at home while our room was finished off by the cleaners. Our room was Huth#2 and can only be described as perfection!! Our own little piece of paradise directly on the beach, what more could you want? Harrington House is picture perfect with a great location right on the most fabulous beach complete with dolphins and amazing sunsets. This is our fourth stay at Harrington House and each stay is a delight. The room is pretty, neatly made up, comfortable and sparkling clean. The hospitality of the owners and staff make you feel at home very quickly and the staff soon become friends. There is nothing that is too much for them to do for you to make your stay on the island a memorable experience. Breakfast is a culinary delight that we look forward to having every day. We stayed at Villa #2 and it was far beyond anything we'd imagined. The place was huge - large enough for everyone to have their own private space - but cozy enough for everyone to get together in the evenings and mornings for breakfast and dinner. The barbecue by the pool was fantastic, as was the pool, hot tub, beach access, sunsets, and views from our private balcony. The amenities inside are all top of the line, from the lighting to the flat screen TVs in every room to surround sound throughout to the high-tech kitchen. We were blown away from the second we stepped inside and highly recommend it.

Our stay at Harrington House was amazing; from the dolphin and pelican shows to the magical sunsets and stargazing from the pool. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The island is laid back and relaxing. The beach is quiet. Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed.

We have found our favorite winter get-away! We just loved The Harrington House. Our room (Sunset) had a balcony over-looking the Gulf and we enjoyed our morning tea and coffee there. Our evening cocktails and our after dinner wine while looking at the stars! The breakfasts were great and what a great spot to eat! They offered my husband his favorite omelet (bacon, cheese and tomato). It was as if they know it was his favorite. We were in heaven and will return. Longer stay next winter!

We had a wonderful, relaxing, stay at the Harrington House B&B. The owners and staff were extremely friendly, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the beach was beautiful. We have already booked a week for 2009.

The perfect beach Hideway! This was our third trip to Harrington House and every time we go it keeps getting better. Our favorite room is Huth House #3. The beach is right outside the door. The huge Pines shade the patio, but when you want sun, it is only footsteps away. The completely modern bathroom has a huge 2 person shower along with a jacuzzi where you can look out over the ocean while still in the privacy of your room. There was a efrigerator in the room so we would pick up food for lunch on the patio. You can literally walk for miles on the beach. If you watch carefully, the dolphins will be swimming along with you as you walk. Breakfast is a real treat. While you can order almost anything you would like, there is a special every morning. My favorite was the spinach, bacon and mushroom omelet served with oatmeal toast and fresh fruit. If you ever tire of the fantastic view, you can always go for a bicycle ride (no charge for the bikes) around the island. It has been great to find a quiet little island with no high rise chain hotels. All of the restaurants are locally owned also. The Sandbar, just up the beach is a favorite of ours. Your table is literally right on the beach with live entertainment as you watch the sunset. We can promise you that the hospitality from Jo, Patty and Ann will make you feel at home, or make you wish you had a home like this!

We had a wonderful experience at this B and B--every amenity possible--neat, clean, spacious suite; well-presented, delicious food; owners were gracious and attended to our every need. We definitely will go back!!

We have stayed at other B&B's and the Harrington House Beachfront B&B was at least a 5 star B&B! It exceeded all of our expectations! This was a surprise to my wife as a celebration of our 30th Anniversary. As I shared with the staff of the Harrington House Beachfront, theirs was the only B&B that I didn't get to visit prior to making my selection. Their website although great didn't do justice to their B&B. Many of the other B&B's had nice websites but their accommodations were disappointing. We will be back again and feel confident in sharing our experience with our family and friends. Thank you to the entire staff of the Harrington House Beachfront B&B.

Has been a must-stay for us for the past three years. The B&B is on Anna Marie Island, right on the Gulf, with a white sand beach coming up to the back gate. The B&B provides complimentary bicycles to pedal around the island, and complimentary kayaks. The breakfast room is laid out for maximum interaction with the other guests if you like that (we do), whereas some tables are more private if you like that. Plenty of help to attend to your needs -- all cheerfully. Nearby gourmet restaurants, too.

There's no better place to stay in the bradenton/sarasota area. They really make you feel like you're visiting friends for a short stay who just so happen to be a stones throw from the gulf of mexico. You do not want to miss breakfast even if you've had a late night at some of the fine local establishments. A must stay! A little tip - ask for the Huth house
