For the B&B rooms, if cancellation notice is 14 days prior to your arrival, no charge. If notice is within the 14 days, we will charge your credit card $100. |

We are return customers of The Harrington House and will be life-long customers as well! What else is there to say...they treat us like family and the location is absolute heaven! Anna Maria is serene location for those that desire relaxing, quaint, and rejuvenating surroundings. The staff is excellent, the rooms are unique and comfortable, and the beach-walks and sunsets are very romantic. In fact, I proposed to my fiancé right on the at sunset last year!

Perfect Spot. Comfortable elegance,wonderful friendly, competent staff
delicious, varied breakfasts. Beautiful great walking and relaxing beach.
Close to many places to visit on less than perfect beach days. Have returned for the past ten years!!

As always, the HH is a wonderful place in one of the best locations on the lower Gulf Coat. Quiet white pristine beach. Visited on weekend of Feb. 7 to 11. The breakfast is to die for. See attached picture of the healthy Fruit Parfait with granola and yogurt. Shown just the way it was served. Sunset is not typical. Usually a few clouds for highlights. Weather was in the high 70's and low 80's. Nearby are three of the best restaurants. Island Crepe, Blue Marlin, and Beach Bistro. Staff is always accommodating.

I first tried to book a cottage on Anna Maria Island, but found the experience frustrating because once charges were added in at the end the price went way up. At Harrington, I paid the nightly rate plus tax, no surprises. Location was very convenient, grounds were sparkling, the beach was fantastic, the service was impeccable, internet access was easy, and the breakfast was fabulous. We took advantage of their bikes and ocean kayak. We walked, biked, or took the trolley while on the island, only driving to Longboat Key and the mainland.

This is my third time to stay at Harrington House and it was wonderful, as always. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beach location is amazing, and the breakfasts are delicious! The staff is so friendly and accommodating - they even have bicycles to borrow for a ride around the island. During your visit, be sure to stop in at Bella Mia on Manatee Ave. for an authentic and delicious Italian meal.

What a fantastic place! You feel like family the moment you arrive. We stayed in a bungalow, which was modern and beachy-cozy. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts each morning were made to order, plus many extras including home baked goodies. They have plenty of bikes and kayaks to borrow, and when you are ready to relax on the beach, you just go out and get a readily available lounge chair. Beach is practically private, and if you need more privacy, you can go and lay by the heated in-ground pool. Can't wait to go back!

A Little "Old Florida" Charm and a Cozy Getaway
We had the opportunity to stay at the Harrington House B&B at the end of Oct 2012 and I have to admit, we found a gem. The accomadations were exquisite and the breakfast was 4 stars! We were treated like members of the family unlike any other resort that we have vacationed at. The view of the ocean right from our balcony was fantastic and there were very few people on the beach. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. Bikes were readily available and beach chairs and umbrellas were instantly available. We never had to worry about "reserving" our beach chairs. We also took out the kayaks and all of this was included in the price. We had never stayed in a B&B before this but now, after staying at the Carriage House #2, we will definitely be going back. Our time at Harrington House was restive and peacefuland included many long walks on the beach. Our favorite part of our stay was sitting on our balcony overlooking the ocean and sipping a glass of wine as we watched the sun set. What a fabulous getaway!!!

We love the location and the beach at the Harrington House and it's been our favorite place to stay over many years. We can't say enough good things about it from the great location to the great service, they run a wonderful bed and breakfast. The breakfasts are fantastic and the rooms are absolutely clean and so comfortable. The beach is one of our favorite places to go to.

We had a wonderful time here, relaxing on the beach and in pool. Breakfast is the best of any place we have stayed, with a daily special, plus eggs always an option or other choices. Staff is helpful, friendly, very accommodating. I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded.
