Parlor
The first floor of Akwaaba DC is common area for guests to relax and enjoy. The center parlor is where the staircase to the upper floors is located.

Dining Room
A full hot cooked breakfast is served each morning between 8 and 9am. A continental style breakfast is available from 7am for guests who need to get an earlier start to their day.

Zora Neal Hurston Suite
The Zora Neal Hurston guest room features a king-sized beds, private two person Jacuzzi baths, writing desk and decorative fireplace This room starts at $190/nt for 2 persons.

Inspiration Suite
This guest room features a king-sized iron bed; decorative fireplace, private shower only bath and separate antique claw-foot soaking tub. This room starts at $175/nt for 2 persons.

Toni Morrison Room
This smaller guest room is furnished with a queen-sized bed, decorative fireplace and private shower only baths. This room starts at $150/nt for 2 persons.

Langston Hughes Suite
Located on the third floor of the home, the Langston Hughes room is furnished with a King sized bed. This room features a full private bath with 2 person Jacuzzi tub. Guests also have access to a small private balcony. As with all rooms at Akwaaba DC, wireless Internet access is complimentary and rooms have TV with cable.

Writers Suite Apartment
Separate from the B&B, Akwaaba DC also offers a fully furnished apartment with private entrance. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests, with a King bed, Queen bed and Double sized futon. There are 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped galley kitchen. TV with cable is provided in the main living area and the den. Wireless Internet is provided as well. Breakfast is not generally included with the apartment as there is the kitchen, however if you would like to participate in breakfast upstairs in the B&B, it can be arranged for $15 per night, per guest

Modern Classics room
This guest room is located on the third floor of the house. It is furnished with a Queen sized bed. A private, shower only (no bathtub) bath is attached to the guest room. Wireless Internet, TV with cable and a small refrigerator are amenities provided with each guest room. Guests are also served a hot cooked breakfast each morning, 8-9am.
