The Carriage House is a small private home bed and breakfast located in the heart of Washington's Capitol Hill neighborhood. We are less than a 10 minute walk to the city's Metro (subway) as well as walking distance to the Library of Congress, U S Capitol, Smithsonian American Indian Museum and the Supreme Court. The home offers a choice of 4 guest rooms, each with queen bed and private bath in the main house. The is an additional 2 bedroom, self contained suite offering 2 bedrooms, living room, dining area/kitchenette(Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker)and 1.5 baths. This unit is located across the courtyard from the main house.

Check In Policy:
We can be mostly flexible around your schedule up to 10 pm. Once checked in, you will be provided with keys to come and go as you please.
Check Out Policy:
Check out time is 11am. In most cases, we can store luggage until 7pm on your check out date
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non refundable. Advanced reservations (any made 2 weeks or more from the actual stay dates) can be canceled up until the balance due date, which is 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Children:
Well behaved children can be accommodated in the separate 2 bedroom unit. The guest rooms in the main house are reserved for adults.
Childcare:
Children must be accompanied by and adult at all times
Deposit Policy:
We require a $50 deposit for all reservations made 2 weeks or more before actual stay dates. Reservations made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival are required to be paid in full at the time of reservation.
No Pets Allowed
Pets Living At Inn: Yes
We have a very sociable cat. She will be happy to accept any attention you may want to give. We do not allow our pets into the guest rooms.

Smoking is permitted on the terrace just outside the first floor
