Room 1 This room is on the 2nd floor, has a queen size bed and shares a bathroom down the short hallway (shower but no tub) with Room 2. It is decorated in warm browns and gold with gold colored walls. On one wall are antique sepia panoramic photos of Powell Valley in Southwest Virginia, the childhood home of the Innkeeper. On another wall hangs a photo of rural Stafford, VA where the Innkeeper held her first teaching position. The cherry dresser was the Innkeeper's dresser from her childhood room. The petite writing desk was her grandmother's desk (this piece is fragile so please do not put a laptop or heavy items on the fold down portion).
