The Watson House, located in South Windsor, CT was built in 1788 for a wealthy Connecticut merchant. The historic home was converted into a Bed and Breakfast in the mid 1990's and has recently been taken over by new owners. Today, at the Watson House we strive to provide a comfortable space to relax and rejuvenate, and a place where great food and great friends come together to make great memories.
There are 4 guest rooms available and plenty of room to roam around the property. The rooms are all spacious, elegantly decorated and they are named after previous Presidents. We hope that you enjoy waking to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the warmth of the fire in the hearth and the view out your window of the sheep in pasture. After a full breakfast you could enjoy many of New England’s fine attractions, a round of golf or just read a book in our family room and relax. We are just a short walk or bike ride from the Connecticut River down Ferry Lane or take a stroll down Old Main Street and enjoy the Historic homes, the Old Post Office and the sheep across the street. |
