Lathrop Manor Bed & Breakfast CTMitchell 5 09/08/2008 Having stayed in many of the world's finest hotels and at many B&B's as well I can honestly say that if you're traveling to Eastern CT you'd be foolish not to stay at the Lathrop Manor B&B! The owners/hosts; Marco and Sheryl Middleton were beyond nice and welcoming! They went out of their way in every aspect to ensure our time there was wonderful! Apart from having an incredible home and accomodations, Marco's cooking was absolutely sublime and his 5-course breakfasts are nothing short of perfection! They spent time with us and made us feel warm and welcome from the moment we arrived without ever being intrusive. Truly this couple knows how to run a B&B the right way (I've stayed in others, but none so nice) and the combination of old-world charm and modern luxuries (like central A/C, flat screen TV's) with incredible wordwork, beautiful appointments, and more made The Lathrop Manor Bed and Breakfast a place that I look forward to visiting again and again...Great location, fair pricing, and friendly hosts! Who could ask for anything more? Thank you Marco and Sheryl for a wonderful weekend! We look forward to many happy returns!
