This lovely corner of Litchfield Hills, Connecticut offers great antiquing, streams, lakes, waterfalls, hiking, and all the relaxation one could want at the Homestead Inn Bed & Breakfast. The town of New Milford, nestled in the Litchfield Hills has the longest Green in New England, lined with shops, old houses and churches. Antique stores are only minutes away.

Our 150 year old inn is elegant yet tranquil and informal, featuring rich architectural details. All of our 14 guest rooms have been recently redecorated and are furnished with country antiques and reproductions. Each room has a private bath, cable television, air conditioning and telephone. Come and visit the Homestead Inn...Where hospitality and comfort are the golden rules.

This is a large property as b&bs go with more than one building. The innkeeper was very helpful with directions and suggestions, and very friendly. I was a little disappointed by the food, which was only a continental breakfast. The quality of food served could stand improvement.

Thank you for your kind comments. At the time you stayed here there were fresh home made waffles also being served. We have since added more hot dishes.
