Stonecroft Country Inn is a Mystic B&B nestled on 6.5 rolling acres of lush lawns and terraced gardens in the Connecticut countryside. Originally the 1807 estate of Sea Captain Shubel Smith, Stonecroft offers two distinct lodging options amidst an atmosphere of relaxation and romance. Stonecroft is family owned and operated with a friendly and attentive staff. We pride ourselves on our signature warm welcomes and personal service. Start your day with a full country breakfast; then relax with a trip to area attractions and casinos while you take in the countryside. Return for a wonderful meal in our elegant dining room and enjoy after-dinner drinks on the terrace around our fire pit overlooking the pond and gardens.

A full country breakfast served in front of our fireplaces comes with all room reservations and features homemade baked goods and entrees prepared with seasonal, local ingredients. Savor a fresh fruit parfait, aromatic eggs, quiche and Russian potatoes, fluffy French toast or pancakes.

Had a wonderful weekend at the Stonecroft Inn. Stayed in the Sarah Suite. It was so clean with a huge bathroom, gas fireplace and a very comfortable kingsize bed. We had dinner in their dining rooom the first night. It was excellent! We come from the Boston area and have eaten at many wonderful restaurants in and around Boston, and this dinner was right up there with the best! The service was excellent and so wsa the atmosphere, with a fireplace in the dining room. It was a chilly night that we were there, so it was very cozy. Will definitely go back probably in the warmer weather, as Stonecroft has a lovely outdoor patio and what looks like, must be beautiful grounds.

Cathi & Jason did an outstanding job with our wedding of 53 people. We had an outdoor wedding by the stone wall, the cocktail hour on the most beautiful patio/garden setting and a romantic reception in a rustic room. All our guest we amazed and couldn't believe how beautiful the place was. We look foward to coming back every year to celebrate our aniversrary.

Lovely accomodations, complimentary sherry a pleasant surprise. The room ("Sarah")and furnishing were quite comfortable, large yet cozy. It was wonderful to recline by the fire, take a bath and simply relax in the simple yet elegant atmosphere of Stonecroft.
