Experience a quaint rural farm and the nearness of historic sites and major cities at The Bed & Breakfast at Bartlett Farm. Located in North Guilford, the center of historic Guilford is only 15 minutes away and the cultural center of New Haven is 25 minutes. The farmhouse at Bartlett Farm has been in the Bartlett family since it was built in 1784. The house was updated in the 1990's, while the surrounding farm is a work in progress. Bartlett Farm is active year round, Maple syrupy in late winter, maintaining a small market garden, and haying fields throughout the spring and summer, pumpkin harvesting in September and October, finishing the year with Christmas trees.
The farm has a menagerie of animals that require daily care and attention, including Fallow Deer, A Buffalo and Donkey, Pigs, Ducks, Cattle and Sheep. There are goats to milk and eggs to gather for those who wish to help. We have three bedrooms available, each with a private bath and in-room TV. The common living room has a working fireplace and a TV, where guests can relax before they head out for the evening or when they return. When the weather is warm enough the wrap around porch is a great place for catching up on your reading or just relaxing. A choice of continental breakfast or a full farm style breakfast is available. We try to include the foods produced on the farm when seasonally possible. |

A great, relaxing place to stay. Beautiful setting with a short drive to the state beach and great local seafood. Rooms are in a separate wing of the house which gave us a bit more privacy then some similar inns. I would highly recommend. Great price per night too!

What a wonderful time we had! The farm is beautiful and the animals are a real treat. The family is friendly and a joy to be around. Diane is an excellent cook - and if you're lucky she'll make her scones!
