Surrounded by 37 acres of pines in Salida, CO, the Tudor Rose Bed and Breakfast is a majestic country manor residing proudly atop a ridge. Bordered by three mountain ranges, the inn offers commanding 360 views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains by day and a sky full of stars at night. The B&B inn offers the tranquility and seclusion of the mountains while having easy access to downtown Salida, only 1.5 miles away.
Constructed in 1979 as an exclusive private estate, this 4,700 square foot dwelling was converted to a bed & breakfast in early 1995. Overly large guest rooms and spacious common areas grace the interior while wildlife, native landscape and a hiking trail enrich the surrounding grounds. Traveling with your horse? We have stalls, paddocks and pastures available for horses of our overnight guests.
The inn is very romantic, ideal for honeymooners, and includes a gourmet breakfast that is served every morning. An expansive, multi-level deck with sunken hot tub allows guests to savor the sunrise views over the Mosquito Mountain Range and Arkansas River canyon, enjoy the many types of birds including our hummingbirds and then soak their weary bones under a black sky full of stars.
