Bob and Sue were wonderfully welcoming. The breakfasts were superb. Bob taught our five year old son to play checkers. I enjoyed visiting the horses with Sue. They gave us excellent advice on local happenings, and where to eat. A thoroughly enjoyable place to stay.

We stayed in a lovely cabin with access to the great room in the lodge. The views from the cabin were breathtaking, breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the hospitality was first rate.

We just loved the setting, the room, the breakfast. The Inn Keepers Bob and Susan are very warm and knowledgable about the area. We look forward to going back to stay again.

Sundance Bear si easy to get to but still very secluded, quiet and peaceful. The views of Mesa Verde and San Juan Mountains are fabulous. Bob And Sue are wonderful hosts (great cooks too!). I'm definately going back!

we stayed in the new guest house. It was absolutely beautiful! The perfect oasis from the sweltering summer heat!

Wonderful atmosphere and the view was spectacular. The innkeepers treated us like family. If you are planning a trip to the Mesa Verde area, you must try to stay here.

The setting was idyllic, the lodge had phenomenal panoramic views of Mesa Verde, the inkeepers made you feel very much at home and the accomodations were very comfortable and clean.

SUE AND BOB MADE US VERY WELCOME, IMMEDIATELY ON ARRIVAL. THE "HELP YOURSELF" TO THE AMMENITIES MADE US FEEL VERY MUCH AT HOME. THE LOG CABIN IS AN IDEALIC PLACE TO STAY IN A STUNNING LOCATION. THE HOME COOKED FOOD FOR BREAKFAST WAS SIMPLY WONDERFUL (ESPECIALLY THE MUFFINS.) CHESTER THE DOG IS VERY ENTERTAINING, ESPECIALLY FOR OUR CHILDREN. WOULD WE STAY AT THE SUNDANCE BEAR AGAIN? ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT QUESTION.

Susan and Bob Scott truly opened their home to us and made us feel like family. We never really felt like "guests". The surroundings were magnificient and we were fed more food for breakfast than we ever normally eat!

The Sundance Bear cabin was cozy and comfortable with a great view of the mountains and Mesa Verde. The hospitality and helpfulness of the innkeepers,Sue and Bob, the friendly pets, and the beautiful grounds also helped to make this a great experience. It is also a very child friendly place (our nine year old loved it and wants to go back).
