At the Abode at Willowtail Springs in Mancos, Colorado, enjoy private, secluded lakeside cabins that are just minutes from Mesa Verde National Park and Mancos restaurants and shopping. Secluded but not remote, we are located on the San Juan Skyway Loop. Guests take day trips to attractions in Mancos, Dolores, Telluride, Ouray, Silverton and Durango. We are just 10 minutes from the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park, 30 minutes from Durango and the Silverton train, the Anasazi Heritage Museum, and the Ute Mountain Tribal Park. The mystical vastness of Hove weep, Dolores Canyon Outlook, Canyon lands, Monument Valley and Arches National Park are 90 minutes away.

Fish or dream in boats, watch double rainbows or Colorado mountain sunsets when the mist hangs low on the surface of the water. Luxuriate in elegant accommodations and gracious surroundings, accompanied by exquisite bouquets of flowers, organic spa bath products and, of course, homemade raspberry jam and bread.

Come for adventure of any kind in any season: romantic getaway, small wedding, elopement, honeymoon, anniversary, family vacation, reunion or retreat.

We had a private wedding ceremony for 2 at the Abode at Willowtail Springs. Let's just say that this video says it all - the memory my husband & I have to share is beyond my wildest dreams, it's more like a fantasy look for yourself. http://www.paintthedog.com/index.php/sample-videos/wedding We do indeed highly recommend the Abode at Willowtail Springs - we plan to celebrate our anniversaries there too!

I had a epiphany at the B&B, as I realized things can be very different then they had been for years for me. My most sincere thanks is extended to Peggy and Lee for the amazing opportunity to change the course of my life.

Peggy and Lee were most gracious hosts. Right away they make you feel like you are at home. They have thought about everything that one will possibly need for the stay. WiFi and TV for those who want to stay connected. A Lake stocked with fish for those who want to get out of the cabin. Lee says the "fish are on staff" so it is catch and release. lol. There are boats to use if one would like to enjoy being on the water. The lake is also a bird watchers paradice. You are also free to roam about the property - hiking and star gazing was our pleasure. The cabin itsel was cozy. It even has air conditioning though the weather was cool enough to do without it. Lee and Peggy say, we are just a phone call away if you need anything. They are available 24/7. For hospitality, Lee and Peggy are second to none. Willowtail Springs was more than we ever imagined. We will be back.

If you want sterile luxury - don't come here. If you want absolute class with a welcoming, relaxed homey touch - Willowtail Springs is the place. I can't recommend it highly enough. You will leave with a lighter step, a calm mind and new friends, because Peggy and Lee are the real deal. Their land and their B&B are a natural extension of their love of life and art and people. You can't help but feel like you met old friends. But, if you just need to escape - appreciate the land and be alone - fear not, you will find that also. GO! NOW! Enjoy.

My husband and I loved our secluded cabin overlooking a lake. We actually gave up a day of sightseeing just to enjoy relaxing there! When we arrived food was waiting for us in the fridge so that we could make our own breakfasts--eggs, fruit, good bread, outstanding homemade preserves, coffee, tea, milk, etc. The gardens were lovely, and the robin's nest in the rafters of our comfortable deck was the best entertainment. Peggy and Lee Cloy are wonderful hosts. We have already started recommending Willowtail Springs to our friends, and we would love to return someday.

This is by far one of the most quiet, calm, and relaxing places I have ever stayed. If you want to go "off the grid" in luxury, this is the place to go.
