Breakfast is served in the Great Room next to a 20 foot wall of 10 foot high windows. Wildlife is often seen from these windows.

Guests are invited to join their hosts in the Great Room for conversation, table games or just to read and enjoy the fire.

The Southwest Room
After breakfast guests can walk the Fairy Slipper Trail that passes near the inn. In April, there are the pasque flowers which are the first blossoms of the year and there are surprise snow storms. In May, the aspen are dressing for the summer. In early June, you can see the rare fairy slipper. In late June, you can find clusters of columbine. All through the summer there's a varying selection of wildflowers.

The Heritage Room
Silver Wood Inn Bed & Breakfast is at 9,200 feet above sea level. The mountains of Continental Divide are in clear view to the west and because of the clean air its hard to believe that they are 70 miles away. Lower mountains fill the scene in between Silver Wood and the Continental Divide. Pikes Peak dominates the landscape to the southeast.
