Our Library
Our library is made up of referrence books incling dictionaries and birder's i.d. books, histories, poetry and fiction, as well as more modern books we think our guests might enjoy. The parlor/library is a pleasant place to read, chat with friends, and/or enjoy a cup of tea in front of the fire. There are also games, a victrola, and stereoscopes for our guests to enjoy.

Living Room

Corona de Oro
Furnished with a queen sized four-poster bed, a gas log fireplace, claw footed "champagne tub" and a comfortable chair for reading. There is also something I really love about this room: a charming and comfortable window seat with a view of the Alps, the courthouse and the bandstand. I sat in it one day, a hiatus in my hectic schedule, and had the honor of seeing a gorgeous male Ana's Hummingbird perched on a twig nearby, totally unaware he was being observed.

Bully Choop
Named after the famous Bully Choop gold mine of Trinity County, I think of Room 3 as the honeymoon suite. It has a gas log fireplace, claw-footed champagne tub, and four windows that look out onto the Bandstand (1901), Courthouse (1856) and the incomparable Trinity Alps.
