Our recent stay at AppleGarden Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Jan, the hostess was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her breakfasts were wonderful and she graciously accommodated our requests. The cottage was adorable, clean and beautiful. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and are already thinking about a second trip. I highly recommend it.

The AppleGarden Cottage seems brand new and the interior design is lovely. The living room is comfortable, the kitchen is new and sunny and pleasant and is stocked with all sorts of good drinks and staple items. The bedroom has high quality linens, the bathroom is nicely designed and pleasant. Everything is crisp and clean---the cottage appears to be brand new. We watched turkeys and cows from our sunny porch. The owner, Jan Lee, is pleasant and hospitable but respects the privacy of her guests. She's an amazing cook and the highlight of this visit for us was definitely the breakfasts that are left on the porch in the morning. Each morning we found a basket complete with instructions to complete the partially prepared meal. The first day we had a strata made from fresh eggs from Jan's chickens and lots of other fresh and mostly organic ingredients. This came with oatmeal fruit scones hot from the oven and home made applesauce. The second day we found waffle batter and syrup, bacon, and home made peach jam. Both days we had leftovers that we ate for lunch. The local scenery is beautiful and the Sonoma Coast beachers (especially Shell) are breath-taking.

The AppleGarden Cottage is a wonderful place to stay--comfortable, cozy, and well appointed. Jan serves an excellent breakfast and the location is beautiful and centrally located on the Marin/Sonoma coast.
