Welcome to one of the Gold Country’s most celebrated Bed and Breakfast Inns, Lavender Hill, a 1900's Country Victorian overlooking the historic village of Sonora, CA in Tuolumne County near Yosemite.
Come and enjoy a delightful blend of romance and nostalgia. At sunset watch nature's light show from our wrap-around porch. Take a morning walk through the lush flower gardens. Sleep in an antique-appointed guest room. Wake in the morning to a full home-cooked breakfast. Be filled with friendship as you share experiences with fellow guests.
The day's plans might include hiking in Yosemite (a comfortable day trip), skiing at Dodge Ridge, fishing, biking, river rafting, or even a scenic steam train ride.
In the evening, you may choose from an historic carriage ride, a stroll through the vibrant downtown district made up of antique shops and boutiques, fine dining establishments, and then, there is the theatre! Plan to attend one of our "highly esteemed" plays performed at one of several professional repertory theaters.

The first course consists of such items as Swiss Breakfast Parfait, smoothies, poached pears or baked apples, bake pineapple, a fresh fruit cup, or an apricot-ginger parfait.
The second course consists of herbed eggs, quiches, stuffed French toast, puffed peach or apple pancakes, eggs, a variety of muffins, and much more. Of course, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available. Click here for a favorite recipe.
The Breakfast Menu varies with the season and the number of guests staying at the inn during any given day. If you have a food allergy, be sure to let the innkeeper know at the time of registration.
