Built as a residence in 1889, Bradford Place in Sonora, California today is a small inn. Offering the warmth of a bed and breakfast, with the same charm with the flair, finesse and style one would expect of a small luxury hotel. Since opening in 2000 this lodging showpiece has become known as the place to stay in California's central Sierra foothills for the discerning business or leisure guest.
Bradford Place enjoys an ideal location in a lovely restored neighborhood one block west of Sonora's popular main street (Highway 49) which is lined with antique stores, art galleries and wonderful dining. In the heart of California's gold country, the inn is close to the gold rush villages of Columbia and Jamestown, twenty minutes or so to the wineries, caverns and shops at Murphy’s, and just over an hour to the grandeur of Yosemite National Park.
You are invited to relax and stay awhile, set your own pace and take in the fresh air.
