The Fuchsia Tree is a charming private (apartment) suite in an 1879 Victorian, located in the very lively and sunny area that is the heart of the Castro district of San Francisco. From your location in the sunny heart of San Francisco, you are just minutes from many restaurants and shops. Public transportation takes you downtown in 10 minutes.
Your cozy guest room invites you to enjoy a number of amenities and elegant décor. We'll make the bed, do the dishes! You have a coffee maker each morning so you can enjoy your stay in the Castro district. Your guest room will include a private bathroom with a bath and shower combination. There is a clock radio, to make sure you’re able to wake up each morning and take full advantage of each day and of course tea and coffee to get you off on the right start. A full kitchen is available with refrigerator to prepare breakfast lunch or dinner and last a TV. In case staying in and relaxing is all you plan to do on this San Francisco getaway.

Well, first off, David O'Neil, the Innkeeper, is just so professional! He promptly returns calls and emails. His lovely garden is fantabulous, while the suite with sleigh bed is immaculate, welcoming, spacious, and quiet. He even put my roses into a vase so by the time I got in, I felt like a princess. Oh did I say he comes out to welcome me and insists on being porter too! Hugs to you David. Maybe we shouldn't tell too many about this wonderful place:), just kidding. Btw, the nearby restaurants offer everything, and Rossi's Italian Deli, which served me and my grandpa when I was a little girl, is still there too. What a treat! Had a great stay!!!

David, I was so happy to find your suite available! Thank you again! Your kind help with my luggage and arrangements was fabulous. Yes, thank God, the Hawaii weather came with me:). Gracious host! Immaculate, sleigh bed, wood floors, closet space, long tiled bar, private garden with table and chairs. Fabulous garden view from inside. Restful. U won't regret this!

The private apartment was unexpectedly very nice and clean. It had a 'homey' comfortable atmosphere to it. Perfect for two people for a short stay. The location was very convenient to public transportation, eateries, and nearby neighborhoods.

Our daughter found the BNB for us, since she lives in San Francisco. We had never stayed in a BNB before. David was a wonderful Caretaker. His place is very clean, quiet and near all the transportations. We have been back since and plan to stay again and again as long as my daughter remains in San Francisco and as long as David will have us. Marty & Kim

The location and the apartment were absolutely beautiful, convenient and very clean. The Innkeeper goes above and beyond to make the apartment comfortable. We absolutely loved it, will return and highly recommend Fuchsia Tree.

Our stay here was perfect!! The room was beautiful, the garden was so peaceful, and the host was so helpful and kind. It was easy to get anywhere from here, but it was also great to check just check out the neighborhood!
