Apple Hill Season
Fall in Northern California is not truly fall until it is Apple Hill season in Camino. A bounty of privately-owned farms, set among the rolling foothills, showcase old family recipes of homemade fritters, ciders, apple wines, and hand-crafts. Sample apple cider donuts at Rainbow Orchards, the crisp cider at High Hill Ranch, and the late-summer peach pie at Hooverville Orchards.

Gold Country
Just a few minutes from the inn you will find Gold Bug Park where you can try your hand at panning for gold, view the Stamp Mill and visit a hard-rock mine shaft. Just eight miles away you can visit Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma where gold was first found in California at Sutter’s Mill on the South Fork of the American River.

Alberta's Attic - Our Suite
This two-room suite is ideal for celebrating that special occasion in elegance and complete privacy. The bedroom features a huge queen-sized poster bed with old-fashioned steps next to the bed. Light streams through the pretty stained-glass window in a rainbow of colors in the private bathroom, which has a shower above the tub. The suite sitting room is furnished with items that once might have belonged in the home, reclining chairs, and tea/game table. As in all of our guest rooms, the heating and air-conditioning are individually controlled. Comfortable featherbeds and goose-down comforters are provided during the winter season. Wine and cheese is offered at check-in and a hearty breakfast is served in the dining room each morning of your stay.

The Vineyard Room
Located on the ground floor next to the comfortable living room, the Vineyard Room is decorated in a burgundy color decor inspired by the lush vineyards surrounding the area, and features a king-size bed with a rose-and-leaf hand-carved medallion headboard. The private bathroom has a shower over the tub and a pedestal sink. During the winter season, guests can enjoy sleeping on a comfortable feather bed tucked under a goose-down comforter. To ensure your comfort, individually controlled heating and air-conditioning is provided. A tasty welcome snack is offered at check-in. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room each morning of your stay.

Gandy Dancer
This bright and cheerful room, located on the second floor, is decorated in a relaxing light green decor and offers a whimsical look at the past and present of railroading. The queen-sized bed features a hand-carved "La Fontana" headboard. The antique sink is separate from the private shower. A comfortable featherbed and a goose-down comforter are on the bed during the winter season. Individually controlled heating and air-conditioning ensures your comfort. El Dorado Wine and a cheese plate is offered at check-in. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room each morning of your stay.
