At the time of reservation we secure an advance payment equal to one night's stay plus tax. The balance is due upon arrival. Due to our intimate size, any cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If you must cancel your reservation, notify us 14 days prior to your arrival to receive a refund of your advance payment less a $25. administration fee. If you are unable to cancel your reservation at least 14 days prior to your stay, you are obligated to the entire amount of your stay. Your advance payment will only be returned if we are able to re-book your room. All cancellations and/or changes to reservations must be made via phone with one of the Innkeepers of the Albert Shafsky House. No-show reservations will be charged the full booking amount. All rates are subject to a 10% City Tax. We are a non-smoking inn. There is a $15.00 charge for lost or unreturned keys. We have a two-night minimum on weekends and holidays, but give us a call just in case-we may be able to squeeze you in.
