Villa Valdemosa
The Villa has nearly 5000 Sq.Ft. of living area, all on one level. Curently two bedroom suites,located on the east wing are available. Two additional bedroom suites will be available early in 2008.

The East Garden at sunrise
Besides wine grapes, we are farming French Lavender and olives cured from our own Manzinila and Mission olive trees. We have planted several hundred trees and lavender, and will continue enlarging the east garden. Lavender sachets, moisturizer, and soap will be locally made and sold exclusively at the Villa and at our winery next season. Villa Valdemosa Cellars, located on our property below the Villa,is a master plan developed by the Villa owner and winemaker,and has been designed to be a replica of the quaint, old world wineries found in southern Europe. This boutique winery will focus on the inceasingly popular but hard to find,unique northern Rhone and Bordeaux varietals and will be open to the public by appointment. Our Guests at the Villa will be eligible for special incentives at the winery which will be announced early next year. STAY TUNED!!

Our Gardens
Native cactus and fountain grass ferns frame the covered patio off the kitchen, looking towards our pool on the south lawn.Acres of lavander and olive trees adorn the property. Our Kestrel Canyon vineyard, viewable from both the Syrah and Petite Syrah guest suites, will be planted next spring to several exclusive Rhone types of wine grapes.

Situated at nearly 1200 ft above sea level, our guests enjoy see forever views in nearly all directions. Vineyards and open ranchlands with horses and cows leisurly grazing in the soft sunlight dominate the pastoral scenes in all directions. Layers of foothills and mountains show in the distance. Soft breezes from the coast are a daily experience. You get a sense of place and peace..

Grand Foyer/interior
A massive entry wall, high beamed ceiling, and limestone travertine hand inlaid floors welcome our guests. Two bedroom/ bath suites are located off the foyer on the east wing, and two additional suites are located on the west wing to insure maximum quiet enjoyment for our guests

Petite Syrah Bedroom
Very comfortable room with private bath. Large window looks over kestrel canyon vineyard and mountains to the east. Antique loveseat and queen size brass/pewter bed. Beautiful sunrises!! $175 per night

Syrah Bedroom
Large junior master suite with private bath and walk in closet. warm burgundy colors, queen size bed, cozy sofa nestled into alcove, north window looks over out to courtyard and up to olive grove. $190 per night

Typical Bathroom
Tuscan inspired fixtures and tumbled limestone tile vanities, large showers tiled in tumbled limestone, and (in the petite syrah suite),a window overlooking our estate vineyard to the east.

Bordeaux Suite
Currently our largest accomodation, the Bordeaux Suite is located away from the other suites at the south end of the Villa. An intimate foyer welcomes you into a large, elegantly furnished queen four poster bedroom, two large windows looking east, and a large picture window looking south to the distant horizon. $245/night

Portofino Suite
Breath taking views to the south and west are yours from your own intimate private exterior deck. With your separate and private entrance, these units are also vacation rentals, so inquire about our longer term rates!! $250/night

Sorrento Suite
This suite has a private entrance through custom leaded glass doors, a private sun deck accessable by a pretty French door,large eastern King Bed, Whirlpool tub, rich Tuscan colors and european furnishings. Vacation rental available! $250/night

Suite Bathroom
The Bordeaux bathroom comes fully equipped with a large, deep soaking tub.
