Once contained 3 Oriental ponds with an arched bridge over the center pond. One of the daughters of the Parkes fell into one of the ponds and they filled 2 of them for safety reasons and cemented in a shuffle board area.

Outstanding view through windows on three walls of the waves crashing against the rocks, corner Victorian fireplace, 1860's Chippendale revival bedroom set, 4-poster bed with canopy and side curtains, sitting area, double bed, and clawfoot tub and shower.

An especially romantic guest room and a popular favorite with couples in love! This room has five matching pieces that we were lucky to find, one at a time. Its location is also of interest. This guest room is on the ground floor and was once the cooks’ quarters. It had only 6 ½ foot ceilings so the floor had to be dug out and lowered.
