The Inn at Occidental Bed & Breakfast in Occidental, California was a homestead in the 1870’s but today it is the site of an exquisite wine country bed & breakfast. As the only AAA Four Diamond and Mobil Three Star inn north of San Francisco, you can expect your stay at The Inn at Occidental B&B to include the finest of accommodations, food, service and hospitality. We excel in providing you, our guest, with an experience that you will never forget - a time away from the stress of everyday life and a time for rejuvenation.

Guests enjoy the finest of accommodations, antiques, decor, and a welcome that extends the length of the veranda. Nestled in the heart of Sonoma County is the valley and town of Occidental, a historical stopping point on the railroad between San Francisco and the Northwest. On the hillside, just above the village, a homestead was built in 1877, subsequently becoming the location of the Occidental Water Bottling Company. Now this site provides the setting for The Inn at Occidental. Accordingly, we offer a variety of wonderful gifts, from plush robes to photographic prints all from our gift shop.

Each Inn at Occidental guest room and suite is distinctly different. Select the one that sparks your imagination and discover a treasure trove of family heirlooms, whimsical folk art, and rare antique-shop finds. All rooms feature overstuffed down beds, comfortable sitting areas, and fireplaces. Most rooms also offer spa tubs for two, and many have private decks. King beds can easily convert into two twins. When you wake in the morning you'll find freshly brewed coffee and a variety of teas available in the living room and in the Wine Cellar dining room.
