The grounds and building were beautiful and It instantly sent us back in time. Mary Louise was a delight and had so many interesting stories about the inn and early years in Nevada City. Great breakfast.

What a beautiful, historic experience my husband and I had celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Red Castle! The Inn is hidden within a forested hilltop, just down the way from down town Nevada City fun. You are surrounded by classy antique furnishings, everywhere you go! The Forest Room where we stayed is indeed the most romantic, private of them all.
