Welcome to Stahlecker House Bed and Breakfast Inn. Stahlecker House is Secluded on one and a half acres of lush manicured lawns and flowering gardens. Located only minutes from the beginning of a series of wineries, the inn is perfectly situated for easy access to the renowned wine growing region of Napa Valley.
Back at the inn, sip fresh made lemonade on the sun deck or unwind in front of two working fireplaces in the "gathering fireside rooms" on a cool night, as well as the fireplaces in each bedroom. Homemade cookies satisfy any guest's sweet tooth. A coffee and tea service commences at 5:30 p.m. in the evening. A charming antique piano waits patiently for guests to entertain with tune. There are also games, and books to read in the living room.
After breakfast, go for a morning hot air balloon ride, where you will be picked up and dropped off at the front door of the bed and breakfast. Play a game of yard croquet with fellow travelers. In the evening, gather for a board game or puzzle. Spend the afternoon on the Napa Wine Train, sampling wines from various vineyards. Treat yourself to a day at the spa with a massage, mud bath or mineral soak. Make a reservation at any of the many fine restaurants for a memorable dinner. Antique shops and boutiques delight discerning shoppers. Go for a bike ride in the delightful California sun or visit the Candle Factory. A serene setting of shady trees and a trickling creek creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxing stay. Guests are encouraged to walk the lovely gardens and grounds.

We thoroughly enjoyed over stay at the Stahlecker House. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room and fantastic breakfasts. Would definitely stay again.

Needed to stay one week in Napa and wanted to enjoy a nice B&B and the Stahlecker's worked with me on a discount. Who would have thought they won one of the best breakfasts at a B&B in that part of the U.S......my wife and I, after eating the breakfasts. This is with me having a gourmet chef for a wife. Every afternoon we had fresh cookies, coffee, soda, coffee and lemonade made by Maria. Sorbet most mornings was a treat. We were even furnished bottled water for our day trips by Ron and Ethel. You can always stay at home with the beautiful landscaping and the Redwoods in their yard and even a gingkgo tree. With their 25 years in Napa they were the perfect tour guides for what each guest, including ourselves, wanted to do. The mud baths in Calistoga and their discount coupons saved us so much, even on the wine testings. When we go back we will stay with the Stahlecker's. It's interesting hearing stories about Ethel and Jay Leno due to Ron's expertise in classic cars. Interesting home, interesting people, interesting trip and worth it without a discount.
