In May, 2007 Jim Gunther and Jamie Cherry of San Francisco, CA, took the reins as the new innkeepers of The Inn on First Bed & Breakfast in Napa. Jim and Jamie bring fresh new ideas and fervor to excel at their new vocation. They hope to bring a touch of San Francisco style to the Napa Valley and impart some of that style to the look, feel, and food at the inn for their guests to experience.
The five mansion rooms are located on an exquisite estate built around the turn of the 20th century. While modernizing the interior to provide guests every contemporary comfort, we have remained true to the splendor and spirit of this grand manor. The grounds… you are invited to revel in the beauty that is Napa Valley in the exquisite English gardens. Enjoy an al fresco breakfast on the patio, take a relaxing stroll and discover a "secret" garden as you sip on a glass of wine and reflect on your perfect day in Napa. A stay in one of the garden suites allows you to savor the beauty from your private balcony or deck. |

Check in time is between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., unless previously arrange with innkeepers. |
Cancellation Policy: |
Required for deposit return unless your canceled room is re-rented. The following is required for deposit return minus the $35 cancellation fee.
1 room: 14-day notice
2 room group: 21-day notice
3+ room group: 30-day notice
5 or more nights: 21-day notice
All cancellations will be charged a $35 fee per room, regardless. |

We require a valid credit card number. If the particular room (or rooms) you've requested is available on the dates you've chosen, a deposit of 50% of the total stay will be charged to secure your reservation. Those guests requesting one night only will be charged for that night. |

Our stay at Daughter’s Inn
“No necissito nada:” I lack for nothing. The experience of Ahhhh.
It was as if the magic genie, even before we had even thought our wish, had already granted it.
Our children gave us a weekend at Daughter’s Inn as a Christmas present. They instinctively knew that we needed the experience of total relaxation much more than any material things. Life in the Bay area is inherently stressful, even more so for two busy doctors. We had the opportunity to soak in the tub, sleep late beneath the down comforter, read beside the fire, and not be responsible for a thing (except to walk a few blocks to outstanding restaurants for dinner.) We look forward to returning the gift to them when they have special occasions.
