Mendocino County and the Northern California coast is a place of unsurpassed natural beauty, featuring rugged coastline with unmarred expanses of surging sea and sky, spectacular sunsets, towering redwood forests and fresh exhilarating air. It is a place to enjoy history, art, theater, dance, antiques, fine galleries and shops, superb restaurants, horseback riding, tennis, golf, bicycling, kayaking & canoeing, hiking, jogging, beachcombing, whale watching, and yes, even train riding. It can also be a place to do absolutely nothing; where one can seek solitude and inner peace. This inn is just a short stroll to Mendocino's unique shops, fine galleries, superb restaurants, and the mighty Pacific Ocean.
The Inn offers seven uniquely appointed guest rooms, all with private baths and six with wood burning fireplaces, some with ocean views and/or village views. There are six rooms in the Inn; and a romantic cottage that includes a jetted tub for 2, wood burning fireplace, cable TV/DVD, refrigerator and microwave. |

Mornings begin gently at Headlands Inn, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee nudging you awake. Linger in bed as we deliver a sumptuous, gourmet breakfast to the privacy of your room. Your fare is lovingly prepared and served on vintage English china, with fresh flowers and accompanied by a San Francisco newspaper.

Cancellation Policy: |
Please inform us 14 days before your arrival date to avoid a full charge of the reservation. A $25 service fee applies to all cancellations. Group Cancellation Policy (4 or more rooms): One night deposit is required for each room. Please inform us at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to avoid a full room charge per room. No cancellation of individual rooms allowed, unless rebooked within the group. A $25 service fee per room applies to all cancellations or changes. |
