Welcome to Alegria Oceanfront Inn, a bed and breakfast situated in town of Mendocino, California. Interesting shops, beautiful galleries, fine restaurants, and the ocean are just a stroll away. Alegria is nestled on historic Main Street in Mendocino Village on a bluff overlooking Big River Beach and an ever changing ocean cove. Unique shops, beautiful galleries, and fine dining are just steps away. Six state parks & reserves, all within 15 minutes, offer unlimited hiking, biking & breathtaking views.

Always in transition, our perennial garden, under the guidance of master horticulturist, Jaen Treesinger (featured in Horticulture magazine) and our gardener, Dan Salmond, is a showcase of interesting and unusual plants. We're also proud to be on the Mendocino tour of antique roses. Located in the garden, the hot tub features a relaxing view of the garden, beach, and ocean. A great place to watch the stars and the moonlight on the waves.

Check In Policy:
Is from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving early or late.
Check Out Policy:
Time is 11:00 am.
Cancellation Policy:
You are responsible for the full amount of your reservation unless you give us at least seven (14) days notice, or we are able to rebook your room. A $25 service fee will apply to all cancellations. A twenty-one (21) day notice is required for holidays and reservations of two or more rooms.
Children: Children Welcome
Well behaved children are welcome in our cottages and at the Village Farm Retreat. Parents are responsible for the actions and welfare of their children. Parents who are inconsiderate of other guests will be given a time out at once, have their television and hot tub privileges revoked for a week!
Deposit Policy:
The full amount for one night, including tax, must be received within five days of making the reservation.
