In the heart of the village of Mendocino, CA there is an inn of Old World charm, atmosphere and elegance. The Whitegate Bed & Breakfast Inn catches the eye and then captures the heart. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens and views of the rugged Pacific Coast, the inn is a splendid example of classic, meticulously restored Victorian Architecture. The rooms offer comfort in classic style - generously appointed with TVs and DVDs, fireplaces and boasting irresistibly comfy European feather beds and immaculate private baths. Our gourmet breakfasts and afternoon wine and cheese event are not to be missed.
We can accommodate 1 child in our cottage unit, please inquire for details. Ancient cypress trees and colorful abundant gardens surround the inn and frame views of the village and coast. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful inn in a more wonderful setting. Read in a chaise on the deck, or just sit in the garden on a bench and listen to the ocean. Check-out time is 11 a.m. Please let us know if your arrival is delayed and we can make arrangements to have your room key available. The office closes at 7 p.m.

Cancellation Policy:

There is a $25 fee for all cancellations. A 14 day cancellation notice prior to 12:00 noon on day of arrival is required or you are obligated to pay the full charge of the reservation unless we can re-rent the room. A 30 day cancellation notice is required for holidays, packages and/or reservations of two or more rooms.

Your reservation is confirmed when we receive your deposit prior to arrival. You will receive a confirmation in the mail. We have a two night minimum on weekends and three or four night minimum on holiday weekends.
