Perched on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean, in Mendocino, California. Agate Cove Inn Bed & Breakfast delivers a breathtaking view of the joining of land and sea. The Farmhouse and cottages are set on two acres of beautiful coastal gardens, and 100-year-old cypress trees frame the property. Mendocino is surrounded by 5 state parks and the Jackson State Forest, providing many opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, 4-wheel driving, and kayaking.

There are dozens of wineries in Mendocino County, with many of them clustered along Highway 128, the main route to Mendocino from the San Francisco Bay Area. The village of Mendocino is designated as a historical district, and it has managed to retain much of the charm of a bygone era. Mendocino is home to a thriving community of artists, anchored by the world-famous Mendocino Art Center. There are many galleries and shops in the village, as well as quite a few excellent restaurants.

Choose from single and duplex cottages, as well as the 1860 Farmhouse. Rooms are elegantly decorated with lavish linens and filled with ample amenities. All rooms have feather beds, scandia down comforters, luxury linens, hair dryers, robes, coffee machines, cable T.V, HBO, VCRs and/or DVD players, CD players, complementary sherry, games, toiletries, and a guest directory. Our guest services room is Our GUEST SERVICES room is open 24 hours a day. There you will find a refrigerator, microwave, ice machine, and complementary video library, games, books, CDs, hot beverages and a telephone. We also provide irons and ironing boards.

Check In Policy:
Check in is between 3 and 7. Late check in is also fine as long as we are notified.
Check Out Policy:
Check our is 11:00 a.m. Late check out may be availble depending on our schedule.
Cancellation Policy:
We have a 14 day cancellation policy. All cancellations are charged a $25.00 fee. Cancellations 2 weeks prior to check in will be fully refunded if we can re-rent the room. Cancellations 14 days and beyond, will receive a full refund minus the $25.00 fee.
Children: Children Welcome
We have some family rooms available. We are only able to accomodate a total of 3 people in a room however. There is a "third person" charge of $30.00 per night.
