Our stay at the Delta Dockside Boatel was everything we imagined it to be. Sue Shaber was great. She is very nice, easygoing, accommodating, and is always smiling. She directed us to where we were going to stay, gave us our privacy and at the same time was very accommodating. She cooked a wonderful breakfast of fresh pastries, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juices. The boat was wonderful. Very roomy and relaxing. Good views in every angle of the boat. Convenient kitchen with a fridge, oven, sink, and microwave. Towels were convenient as well! We are definitely coming back!

This is a haven of tranquility in the center of the triangle made up of the Bay Area, Sacramento and Stockton. Especially in these times of high gas prices, residents of these busy places should know about it as an easily reached escape, about midway on HWY 12, which connects I80 and I5 from Fairfield to Lodi. We came in from Sacramento, having flown in from a hectic visit to New York and then driven around all day. Sue is the consummate hostess, making sure you have your privacy and yet everything you need; it was a pleasure to meet her. The boat was very comfortable and had many amenities (TV, DVD, fireplace, AC, etc.), but it seemed best to simply enjoy the birds, the occasional tugboat, the sunset, and the the full moon. In the morning, Sue came aboard with a sumptuous breakfast; I wish we could have stayed longer. My only concern in writing such a good review is that she might get booked for when I want to return!
