Welcome to Sorensen’s Resort Bed & Breakfast located in California’s serene Hope Valley, a pristine pocket of the Sierra, 20 miles south of Lake Tahoe. Choose from cozy bed-and-breakfast cottages to fully outfitted log cabins and contemporary mountain homes perfect for families, couples, or friends vacationing. All are situated on the edge of Hope Valley, an incomparably scenic alpine setting ringed by aspens and trout-filled rivers. We also offer a facility to host your weddings, and specials events so call the inn for more information.
All our lodgings are housekeeping cabins, with daily service available upon request. Guests have access to the resort’s facilities, ranging from relaxing in a comfy hammock swaying between the trees, and even our own catch-and-release trout pond. Our excellent Sorensen’s Country Café, is always serving up delicious meals through-out the day. Accommodations include one or two person cabins, two to four person cabins, group cabins, log cabins and vacation homes. Bed and breakfast accommodations are also available. Each of these units sleeps up to two persons, and includes complimentary breakfast for two.

Cancellation Policy: |
We will be happy to refund your deposit, less a $25 service charge, per cabin booked, if we are notified prior to 2 weeks in advance on any cancellation or change in reservation; 30 day notification required on all holidays, special events and group reservations. Shorter notice will result in the cabin rate being charged for the entire visit, if not fully re-rented.
