Welcome to the Camellia Inn Bed & Breakfast, conveniently close to both the famed California wine country and the many outdoor recreation opportunities of the region, including the Russian River, Lake Sonoma, the "Redwood Empire", and the gorgeous California coastline. The Inn is located just steps from the historic Plaza in Healdsburg, affording guests the opportunity to easily explore on foot the many specialty shops, antique stores and trendy restaurants clustered around it. Surrounding the inn are three renowned wine growing regions the Dry Creek, Alexander and Russian River Valleys and dozens of wine tasting rooms for the areas premier wineries.
The Inn, originally built by Ransome Powell in 1869, is an Italianate Victorian townhouse on a half-acre of splendid grounds. Surrounded by more than 50 varieties of its signature camellias, the Inn blends an authentic vintage environment with modern luxury amenities to create a memorable getaway. Nine rooms and suites each offer private baths and complete privacy, with a full breakfast each morning. Hosts Ray, Del, and Lucy Lewand are happy to assist in arranging winery tours, outings, or dinner reservations at the many fine local restaurants. |
