The Groveland Hotel's Restaurant features outstanding cuisine prepared from California seasonal ingredients. Most herbs are from the hotel's garden. Executive Chef Greg Lutes utilizes organic and naturally raised and grown products. His emphasis is on simplicity to allow the quality of the ingredients to speak of the season and their freshness. In his words, “I cook from my heart and soul. I cook from scratch to achieve a balance of simplicity and sometimes unique flavor pairings and profiles, seeking out small farmers and local foodstuffs whenever possible.”

Join us for award winning wine and beer in our authentic Gold Rush Saloon. We're proud of our extensive list of microbrews and selections from local California foothill wineries. Iron Door Room - Room 1
A million-dollar renovation has retained the character of the 19th century hostelry, restaurant and saloon while insuring that today's discriminating guests enjoy modern comforts. The original adobe Groveland Hotel was constructed around 1849. Guests are served our Innkeeper Breakfast featuring a selection of baked goods and cereal, freshly brewed coffee and tea, juices and fruits.
