Welcome to the Brannan Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast, located in Calistoga, CA. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this cottage was built in the 1860s by Samuel Brannan, Calistoga's founder and one of California's early entrepreneurs. Of the original 25 cottages, only three remain and the inn has the only cottage remaining at its original location according to the town layout developed by Brannan.
Distinguished by its intricate gingerbread, gable-board and scalloped ridge cresting, the bed and breakfast features a broad wraparound porch and a private courtyard surrounded by ornamental and herb gardens, with two separate lawn areas. We have a total of six rooms, three standard one bedroom units, one deluxe one bedroom unit, and two mini-suites with sitting rooms (each of which can sleep up to four guests). All rooms have queen size beds and private baths and entrance/exits. Five of the six also have ceiling fans and fireplaces. We offer a full breakfast each morning. On occasion, we have local wineries pour their finest wines on our patio or in the parlor; we provide hot and cold appetizers-check out the latest winery schedule on the Specials and Packages page.
The cottage is approximately five minutes walking distance to Calistoga's popular restaurants, spas, shops, and sports facilities. The inn is available for small meetings and special events year round, with outdoor facilities available in warmer months. Guests enjoy private off-street parking (with security lighting). |

Coffee and tea are made available starting approximately 7:00 a.m. each day for the early risers. Starting approximately 7:45 a.m., a 'serve yourself' buffet with fresh fruit, a variety of juices, home-made baked goods, cereal, and yoghurt is available.

Check In Policy: |
Standard times are between 3 pm and 6 pm. Later check-ins are handled simply. Please contact us by phone or email if you desire an earlier check in or a later check out time; we'll see what can be done depending on other guest schedules, etc. |
Check Out Policy: |
Standard check out time is 11 am. |
Cancellation Policy: |
Full refunds given up to seven days prior to your arrival date, less a $25.00 cancellation charge per room. With less than seven days notice, refunds possible only if rooms can be re-booked. If we are unable to re-book your room, a one-night stay will be charged to your credit card. |
Deposit Policy: |
A two (2) night minimum stay is required on weekends from April 1 to October 31 and on holidays year-round. |

We would like to welcome your four footed friend to the Brannan Cottage Inn B&B. So that they (and you and we) enjoy their stay we ask that they (and you) abide by cetain rules. Please see the website for these rules. |

Pinot Grigio ("P" for short) is a 5+ year old Jack Russell Terrier and the "official" Inn dog. His primary duties are to greet guests when they arrive, and to protect them from birds and squirrels in the many trees on the property. |
