Welcome to the Gingerwood just one of six beautifully furnished cabins at the Historic Cottages of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Two miles from downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas, our multi-bedroom historic vacation rental cabins and cottages offer a choice of styles, amenities, and locations for your Eureka Springs getaway to the Ozark Mountains. Featuring two or three bedrooms, some with two bathrooms, king beds, all with large whirlpool tubs.
The Gingerwood pictured here is one of our Lake Cottages located at a lovely and private lake resort only 2 miles from downtown Eureka Springs. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this charming circa 1920’s Eureka Springs cabin nestled in a woodsy setting a short stroll from Lake Lucerne.
Two of our Downtown Cottages are in the heart of Eureka Springs village -- an easy walk to shopping, dining and all the attractions of the Victorian town.
Our third downtown cottage is located in the Historic Loop, a quieter town setting. Eureka Springs attractions are a fifteen minute stroll or quick trolley ride away.

Check In Policy:

Check in time for Lake Lucerne/Cricket/Buchman cottages starts at 4PM - No Exceptions.
Peabody House: (Cheshire, Dashwood and Rivendell) check in appointments start at 2pm. We ask that you make an appointment (example: 3 to 4pm). This helps us properly staff for your arrival and keeps you from finding the Inn locked. After 6pm, we may leave a welcome letter on the front door.

Cancellation Policy:
|
|
We are a small, privately-owned business, and due to our small size, cancellations impact us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling your room. For this reason we uphold a strict policy. Reservations must be cancelled 14 days prior to arrival. After that, no refund is possible regardless of reason.If we have luck filling your vacancy, you will receive a refund less a $25 processing fee. We do our best to fill the rooms in your stead.
NO REFUND FOR EARLY DEPARTURES - If you leave before the date scheduled for departure or if you do not show for your reservation, you will be charged for the full amount of your reservation.
Group Cancellation Policy exists for groups or individuals reserving two or more rooms/cottages for any given date. This policy extends the cancellation notification period from 14 days to 30 days.
Non-refundable or cancelable holidays:
Major Holidays, including Valentine’s weekend, and some major festivals, and not cancellable at any time after the reservation is made. You will be charged in full for cancelling these holidays and festivals:

Deposit Policy:

Reservation is guaranteed with a credit card and a deposit for the first night's rate.
$25 of your deposit is a non-refundable processing fee. Please see cancellation policy.
Payment accepted (besides cash): MasterCard, VISA, Discover. We do not accept checks.
(American Express is ONLY accepted for guest staying at the Peabody House – no exceptions.)
Groups: All groups may be subject to a 5% surcharge. Booking more that one cottage or room will be charged 1/2 the stay up front as a deposit, and is subject to a 30 day cancellation policy. See below.

Pets Friendly Cottages (4) – all pets MUST be announced and owners MUST follow rules regarding pets: Gingerwood, Cricket, Clovetree and Rivendell. Cleaning fees start at $25 and go up.
