My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda del Rey. Polly and Bill were very gracious hosts. The breakfasts were fabulous. Each morning we started our day in the dining room with a new table setting, great food and fellowship with fellow guests and our hosts. Polly provided us with a special treat each evening, a nice way to end our day. We so enjoyed the peaceful setting. Polly and Bill were most helpful during our stay. We plan to return in the future.

Most definately stay here. These kind folks delayed their own vacation to allow us to stay with them.Very cordial and knowledgable about area around Tucson.

We were delighted with the graciousness of the hosts and the grounds. We wished we had arrived earlier than 6 p.m. and had the time to stay an extra night. We would go back in a minute! There were 4 of us in our 50s and 60s--2 from Seattle and 2 from Israel, the first guests ever to stay there from Israel.

It was a perfect weekend! Our youngest was graduating from the University of Arizona and we wanted a place where we could get together with him and our two older children and all their mates. Hacienda Del Rey was a perfect choice for us. Our hosts, Bill and Polly Ritchie, attended to every detail to welcome us and to ensure the success of our little reunion. They tailored the breakfasts to be quick and easy when we had to out the door early and more elaborate and leisurely when we had time to spare. They sent us into the desert with extra bottled water and plenty of maps and recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. The rooms were delightful and we just loved the beautifully landscaped courtyard and patio with spa and fireplace. Our guests got to see and enjoy the beauty of the desert while only minutes away from I-10 and the charms of the city. We would definitely come back again. Don't miss this little gem!

What a beautiful setting in the Arizona desert! The courtyard is a serene and beautiful place to relax after a day of sightseeing and hiking. Polly's breakfasts are outstanding. We truly had a marvelous experience at this B&B. Bill and Polly obviously love being innkeepers and enjoy creating a terrific experience for their guests!

Great scenery and somewhat isolated from major developments (which is very appealing to me). I felt like I was somewhat in a "real" desert which was enjoyable.

Hacienda del Rey was the perfect getaway with the beautiful view of the mountains to sitting in the hottub under the stars. Bill & Polly made us feel so welcomed and Polly's breakfast was awesome! We will go back again soon.

Polly & Rich were charming and welcoming hosts. Pictures on website do not do this B & B justice. Beautiful and comfortable accomodations in a dessert oasis setting!

Bill and Polly Ritchie are the most hospitable inn keepers that we have ever found. The atmosphere of their inn is quiet and extremely comfortable. The inn is insulated from the surrounding population by the beautiful Sonoran desert. Enjoy the stars at night from the outdoor spa, and relax with a wonderful breakfast each morning. We have stayed with Bill and Polly on two separate occasions, and both stays were exceptional.
