This B&B exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived! The quaint, secluded and beautiful environment was awesome for us because we like to get away from the hustle of the city. Go take a hike on one of the many trails for spectacular desert views and glimpses at desert wildlife. The breakfast both mornings was exceptional! We were offered to eat until content, and we did! The homemade, from scratch french toast and pancakes with berries were right up our alley! We enjoyed the inn keepers company and knowledge of the area. Very nice place!

This is one wonderful B and B with the most gracious of hosts. The food incrdibly prepared by Gaila and served with the utmost of love. No doubt one of the best in Tucson and number one with us. Howard and Linda

My husband and I stayed at Alta Vista B&B in January to celebrate my husband's birthday. The hosts, Peter and Gaila, gave us a very warm welcome. They were always willing to help us with ideas for tourist attractions and local restaurant recommendations. They are the friendliest people you will ever meet. In our bedroom we found the fudge brownies that Gaila made and Peter's homemade lemonade waited for us in the dining room. I am still craving both! Our bed had the softest, creamiest sheets I have ever slept on, and the mattress was perfect. We did not want to leave the bed in the morning because it was so comfortable. The smell of the delicious breakfast and coffee convinced us to get up, and we were not disappointed. Gaila and Peter make the best breakfast! We were stuffed. After a day of exploring, we returned to Alta Vista and tried out the hot tub with a glass of that wonderful lemonade. The view from the hot tub of the mountains as the sun is setting is postcard perfect. Emma, the B&B's darling little dog, accompanied us to the hot tub. We can't wait to return to our favorite B&B!

Always such a relaxing experience - we love the views and grounds - plenty of places to sit & enjoy the panorama outside; comfort, convenience and cleanliness inside - Gaila & Peter welcome us back like old friends & greet us with refreshing lemonade made with fruit from their trees. We love being on the edge of the desert yet close to restaurants. We will continue to make it our Tucson home away from home.
