SUMMER MONTHS (May 15 through September 15): Cancellation during summer months is requested at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid forfeiting a deposit equivalent to one night's room rental. IN-SEASON POLICY (September 15 through May 15): A deposit of one night's room rental is required for reservations of 1-3 days, or 50% of the total for reservations of 4 or more days. Your credit card information will be accepted in lieu of a cash deposit and will not be charged unless your reservation is canceled according to the following guidelines. Once your reservation has been confirmed by email, you will have 72 hours to reconsider without incurring a cancellation fee ($15). For reservations made for January 1 through December 31 (excluding Summer Season (5/15 - 9/30) the deposit is fully refundable up to two weeks prior to the first day of the reservation (minus a $15 processing fee), except for the yearly *special event dates listed below which require 4 weeks notice to cancel. *Special Events: The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (February) and significant University of Arizona weekends including, but not limited to Graduation (May & December), Homecoming, & Parents Weekend (October and/or November). Dates fluctuate each year during the months listed. If a cancellation is received later than the periods described above, the deposit will be forfeited and the reserving party will be responsible for payment of all of the reserved room nights unless the room is rented again. However, these "paid" room nights may be applied toward a future Sam Hughes visit if used no later than 1 year after the original reservation. *Reservations made for periods of time which overlap any part of the Gem & Mineral Show are also subject to the "four week" prior cancellation policy.
