Welcome to Bay Avenue, a seaside Bed and Breakfast located on the bluff at the very edge of Kachemak Bay in Homer, Alaska. We are situated between the famous Homer Spit and Homer town center. In addition to our scenic views, we offer guests a quiet, comfortable and convenient starting (or ending!) point for any Alaskan adventure.

The mature spruce trees surrounding the house are a favorite nesting spot for the many bald eagles in our area. Observe the lagoon and tidal flats below us where shorebirds, waterfowl and Sand hill Cranes gather. Sit back and view the 15-20 foot tides ebb and flow, or the fishing fleet heading for the grounds, all surrounded by majestic mountains and glaciers.

Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast offers both the privacy of a hotel and the friendly atmosphere of a B&B…Six rooms in the main house have either queen or twin size beds. Each has a private bath and spectacular view. The two ground floor rooms open onto a private area of the deck. Off the deck you will find a screened gazebo with hot tub, perfect for relaxing and viewing scenic Kachemak Bay.
