Welcome to The Manning House Bed & Breakfast on beautiful Logan Martin Lake. Just 45 minutes from Birmingham the inn is close to Cheaha Mountain State Park (Alabama's highest spot), Noccalula Falls or Desoto Caverns. Forty minutes away you can visit Barber's Motor Sports Park and Museum or check out Talladega Super speedway and the International Motor sports Hall of Fame.
When guest awake, they are allowed to be as laid back or as active as they choose. The screen porch, sunroom and den overlook the pier, lake and beautiful garden in the spring and summer. We have a gorgeous 1200 feet of level water front and lots of shade trees. Guest may sit on the pier or by the water, on chaise lounges, hammocks or sun bathe. You can also use our big umbrellas, swing or sit on the outside patio under the big shade trees.
You are invited to kick your shoes off, turn off the cell phone and just relax. It's the place to sit on the screen porch, sunroom, and pier or just sit by the lake in the shade. Let all of your cares be washed away. Days begin with spectacular sunrises and end with breathtaking sunsets on the water.
