Mountain Laurel Inn Bed & Breakfast offers a simply elegant setting on Lookout Mountain near the historic town of Mentone, Alabama. Inspiring views abound from our bed and breakfast inn nestled in the woods, on the canyon below DeSoto Falls. The main house offers a beautiful view of the inspiring woods that can be enjoyed through the full size windows or in the rocking chairs on the porch. A separate guest house features beautifully decorated rooms, each with private entrance and bath, TV with VCR/DVD, heat and air. Each room has a theme to reflect the setting: Bridal, Deer, Wildflower, Ski and Apartment/Loft. A full breakfast is served in the main house each morning. The Gathering Place allows guests a common area with a refrigerator, snacks, games and an extensive DVD/Video library.
Hiking trails around Mountain Laurel Inn Bed and Breakfast are enjoyed by everyone who visits. Walks can be short and relaxing or long and adventurous in these Alabama woods. You can stroll to the raised beds and to the bluff overlooking Little River by the trail in front of the main house, or hike to Desoto Falls at Desoto State Park behind the guest house. Every season at Mountain Laurel Inn offers beauty and relaxation as peace and quiet are abundant so come rest, relax and renew. |
