We can't wait to have an excuse to visit this place again. It is so refreshing to see such a wonderful old place that is in such great condition. Not only is the house and yard well cared for, but the warmth with which we were greeted made us fee just as well cared for. The house is well appointed and decorated with Victorian charm and at the same time employs modern fixtures & hardware that make eferything work just as well as it looks. Every door that I opened worked perfectly without any squeaking hinges. There were not even any squeaky floorboards, the place seems to be solid as a rock structurally. I would highly recommend "mistletoe Bough" to anyone with a respect for historical places and experiences and we commend its' caretakers for the efforts that they undertake in order to provide a worthwhile experience for their guests.

Joann's hospitality went with the warm feeling you have as soon as you enter Mistletoe Inn.
As we drove up the drive to this beautiful old home we knew that this was a special place.
It was my husband's first time to stay at a bed and breakfast.
Being someone who loves antiques he was amazed at the beautiful furnishings to be found in this old home.
After both of us loseing our spouses to death, we meet and at the age of 61 married. We are making our own memories and our stay at Mistletoe Bough will be one that we will always remember.
Before we left my husband asked Joann for her recipe for stuffed french toast. There were 3 couples around the breakfast table the morning we were there and everyone cleaned their plate,
We hope to go back soon.
Thanks Joann for a wonderful stay. I would give this bed and breakfast a 5 star.

The Nanny's Room, while the smallest of the house, is the coziest with its back-of-the-house location, and the only room with a private balcony!

A great B&B for the price. Alexander City is not necessarily exciting, but there are things to do, and good food options for dinner. The room we rented was very nice, and the high-speed WiFi was big plus. The InnKeepers themselves are fantastic!

Its a beautiful old home, the proprietors are more than gracious, and i was particularly please with the fact that all the rooms had a private bath. our family reunion was a great success in no small way due to our lodging at mistletoe bough. Auburn University fans take note!
