Start your hiking adventures from your intimate Alpine Hideaway Cottage. Roam the Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail. Climb the Crabtree Falls, tallest cascading falls east of the Mississippi. Continue your conversations with the Blue Ridge Mountains and with each other in your secluded deck hot tub. The songbirds and hummingbirds are visitors, but the Pond's Blue Herons love their solitude. Your complimentary backpack with bottled water, coffee mugs, fruit, trail mix, first aid kit and day hike maps will be waiting for you upon check in. Some folks like to share their mountain hiking with valley wine tasting. We'll let you decide. For a romantic getawy in the Shenandoah Valley these delightful cottages, Ivy and Sunset, sit atop the highest point with 80 mile panoramic views. The Pond View overlooks our one acre pond. Special rates for a four or five night mid-week stays. You will receive a gift of our coffee mugs, wine, snacks, Godiva chocolates and be pampered with our signature breakfast basket delivered to your cottage on one or two mornings. Rate for a 5 night mid-week stay: $995 (Two breakfast) Rate for a 4 night mid-week stay: $835 (One breakfast) Rates for weekends and October are slightly higher.
