Treat someone special. Book a weekend in one of our premium suites (Williamsburg Room or Master Suite), with a four-poster bed, fireplace, and vintage bathtub (we provide the bath salts!). We include a voucher for a dinner out at one of Plainfield's best restaurants (tax and tip included). Return to a room set for romance: the fire crackling, candles softly glowing, silk rose petals adorning the lacy white sheets, chocolates on the pillows, and chilled sparkling wine. Ah, romance!

Girlfriend Getaway: Friday Night Special
Pajama Party Time! Gather the girls and escape for a quick getaway. Catch up on gossip, watch favorite movies, eat pizza and brownies, and just hang! Sleep late on Saturday, and feel free to wear our Pillars robes to breakfast. Book at least two rooms, double occupancy, at our standard rates, and we will include:
* One pizza for every four people on Friday night
* Cold sodas and bottled water
* Brownies and chips for evening snacks
* Cable television with premium channels and on-demand movies in every room
* Full breakfast
* Late check out at noon

Weddings, Vow Renewals, Bridal Showers
What could be better, and more picturesque, than a Victorian house with gardens, a wide front porch, and cozy fireplaces as the location for your Central New Jersey wedding, family reunion, or even a corporate event? We hold a number of indoor and outdoor weddings and receptions at The Pillars each year, ranging in size from 15 to 150 people. The styles of our celebrations vary, from a front porch afternoon tea, to a small cocktail party, to a Texas-style BBQ under a tent in the back. Our facilities are beautiful when dressed up and formal, but they are equally appealing for a relaxed home-style gathering.
For a property rental, we have two levels available: a house-only rental at $100 an hour, and a full-property rental at $200 an hour. We charge one hour as a booking fee, add one hour for set up, and one hour for clean up to the duration of your reception. For corporate meetings, we charge $100 an hour for the use of the first floor of the house, and we can arrange coffee breaks and luncheons if you wish.
We have a general limit of 50 people for a house-only rental, and 150 people for a full-property rental, but that limit may be smaller depending on the style of your event. With a house-only rental we can accommodate about 20 guests for a sit-down dinner, 30 for a buffet style with people carrying plates and glasses, and 50 for a cocktail style, with drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
