One Enchanted Evening (Sun-Thurs)
Can't get away for the weekend? We can make your one evening away an occasion to remember. Check in early, and enjoy your time away. Spend the afternoon lounging at the beach, or taking the scenic cruise on beautiful Lake Sunapee, or relaxing and reading by our pond.
When you return to the Inn, we'll have your gourmet picnic basket awaiting...filled with shrimp cocktail for two, marinated mushrooms, Red Bliss potato salad, chicken salad filled croissants and your favorite bottle of wine. For dessert, our cream puffs and luscious strawberries. Enjoy it in your room, or down by the gazebo. Dickens Christmas Weekend
The holiday season is always exciting here at the Rosewood! Our wonderful old inn seems to have been made for decorating. Each year we look forward to our "Spirit of Christmas" presentation, as thousands of twinkling lights and the aroma of gingerbread get us in the mood for the festive season ahead.
After a hearty breakfast on Saturday, you'll be ready for a brisk day of Christmas shopping, or cutting down your own tree at one of the local farms. Or sign up for our Victorian Christmas Tea and Inn Tour ($20 pp) and you will enjoy two delicious days visiting elegant inns decorated in all of their holiday finery, sipping a lovely hot cup of tea and enjoying scrumptious tea nibbles.
Saturday evening will be festive as we enjoy a holiday buffet dinner. After dinner, as we sit by the fire, we will be entertained by professional storyteller Rebecca Rule www.mooseofhumor.com, with tales of Christmases past.
