A delightful B&B located in the mountains of the Blue Ridge Highlands just off Interstate 81. Apple Tree B&B has four beautifully appointed guest rooms designed for the comfort and tranquility of weary travelers.

The first floor consists of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a large guest room with a private bathroom.
The second floor houses a guest room with a private bathroom and the spacious Innkeepers’ Quarters, with a large bedroom, living room and a private bathroom.

There are two outbuildings with the property. One is @100sf air-conditioned building adjacent to the back door. The Innkeepers at present offer Doggy Day Care in this environmentally controlled building. The other outbuilding is a large building used for a shop and storage which could easily be converted to a 2-car garage.

Damascus is a major tourist destination for those seeking the outdoors. Both the Appalachian Trail and the Virginia Creeper Trail cross here. The Appalachian Trail is well known to hikers up and down the East Coast. The Virginia Creeper Trail (along the abandoned bed of the Virginia-Carolina Railroad) is perhaps the prettiest mountain bike ride you will ever encounter. In addition to these trails, the Trans-America National Bicycle Trail, the Iron Mountain Trail, the Daniel Boone Trail, the Crooked Road Musical Heritage Trail, and Virginia’s Birding and Wildlife Trail all cross in Damascus and give credence to its nickname, Trail Town, USA!

Abingdon, home of the famed Barter Theater, is just a few minutes away. Here you will find even more shops, galleries and restaurants.
