This historic Bed and Breakfast sits on the Common in the tourist oriented town of Chester,VT minutes from Okemo Ski Resort. It's licensed for 16 guests and the suites and rooms offer the highest amenities. The spacious 2-bedroom owner's quarters are as nice as you'll find and there is more space available for expansion.

High visibility on a main east-west route in Southern Vermont in a village with lots of antique shops, restaurants, gift shops, museums and more, with easy access to I-91, make this one of the best locations for a bed & breakfast in the state. The shuttle bus to Okemo Mt. stops almost directly in front.

The rooms vary from large suites with 2-person tub to smaller rooms which allow the innkeeper to offer a range of price and amenities. They have the spa, a steam shower, gas fireplaces, a ball-and-claw tub and sitting areas. There is Wi-Fi throughout. TV cable is available as well. The common rooms include an old fashioned Keeping Room with beehive oven and fireplace, a copper ceilinged dining room, a wide hall, large deck for dining and a tavern-style kitchen area. Everything is quite charming.

The owner's quarters includes an office with visibility all the way to the front door, a 10' ceilinged main room with fireplace, 2 spacious bedrooms and a 2nd sitting room. There is a half bath down and a full bath up. There is a workshop off the main room and the barn can be accessed from 2 levels. Overall this successful B&B is one of the finest you'll find.
